Nathan & Ana'leah Harmon
Inspiring Musical Excellence
About Nathan
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Nathan started studying the piano when he was 11 years old and developed a love, dedication and skill for the instrument under the classical tutelage of pianist Marion Corron in Boise, Idaho. In the past two decades that he has been a pianist, he has performed in various recitals, concerts and events, and has collaborated with other instrumentalists in chamber performances and recording projects.
While sharing music with others in performance continues to be a joy for Nathan, he is also dedicated to helping students of all ages discover the art of mastering the piano as well as experiencing the transformative power of music. He has held teaching positions at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, and Weatherford Music Academy in Weatherford, TX, but now runs a teaching studio out of his home. Although Nathan is passionate about teaching classical music and piano technique, he is also experienced in playing and teaching other musical genres, such as jazz and church/worship music. Nathan’s ability to connect and build report with each of his students, teach piano and musical concepts in ways they can easily grasp, and push and inspire them toward musical excellence continues to open the doors for each person who studies with him to develop the same love and skill for the piano that he did as a child.
Currently Nathan lives in Weatherford, Texas with his wife Ana’leah and their husky Aspen, and is pursuing an Associates of Arts Degree in Piano Performance at Weatherford College under the instruction of pianist Dr. Hyeyoung Song.
